Hungary was the Guest of Honour country at the 2014 Hiroshima International Animation Festival which took place at the end of August. Milán had the honor of creating a spot film for this occasion.

This stop-motion spot was animated using a replacement technique made famous by the series: ‘Puppetoons’. Puppetoons was a Hungarian creation by George Pal made in the 1930’s. All the phases are produced individually, in this case more than 200 objects. Each frame here is hand carved from wood.
